So, my daughter goes to gym class. She goes to class with no problems, but before Eri leaves, she notices that she's unhappy. When she asks what's wrong, Kayla says, "My eyes keep getting wet."
Turns out she thought she was in the wrong class. She perked right back up when she found out her class had been changed.

Perhaps it's just the writers strike, but I've never mentioned a comic strip on my website before. And I found two that were worth looking at in this... five-week period. I really need to read my webcomics more often.
Ozy and Millie is often a thoughtful, insightful comic. In this strip, we find out that Ozy's dad can get his geek on.
And this XKCD is fantastic for any SQL/web geek. Be sure to read the tooltip, too.

We had a second rehearsal this weekend. Rather than big, ugly videos hogging my webspace and bandwidth, I decided to provide some ugly MP3s instead. These were actually recorded from a real video camera, so the microphone quality should be better. I own the copyrights to these audio files.
You can hear our second attempt at Canon or our second attempt at the Bridal March.

Post personal crap on your blog where the whole world can see it.
Sorry, Eri.

This is why I need a better phone. Its microphone SUCKS!
My niece is getting married, and since we have a family of violinists, we're considering playing Canon and/or the Bridal March for her. We got together and Omi and Opi's house for a practice. You can listen to this terrible recording of our duet practicing the Bridal March, and this horrendous recording of our trio attempting Canon... if you dare!
It's possible that the audio quality is so bad because I converted the video inappropriately. (It sounds like microphone overload to me, but I'm new to this video stuff.) If your computer understands my Treo's .3gp files (which is unlikely, but possible), you can try the phone recording of the Bridal March and the phone recording of Canon.
I warned you!
